For this year we are getting a 1/4 beef and will be taking our pigs to be processed. This will be our first year in our new home and the first time we will have a full kitchen. But the biggest problem I fear of having a freezer full of meat stocked is not knowing what exaclty is in our freezer, or forgetting we have it there. We have our household refrigerator freezer drawer, but we also have a number of external freezers and deep freezes for food storage. My goal is to keep this freezer organized and to be able to keep track of how much meat we are going through, how much we have left, and how much we are saving a year by not purchasing it from a big box store. I also want to keep a good track of how fast we use the meat to plan for the coming years and to know how much beef we use as a family. I created a sheet that was simple at keeping a good inventory at all times. I’m also sharing this with you, for free. IM SO EXCITED for how this is coming together.
