WELCOME TO OUR FARM
Hello! I’m Raychel, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to our little slice of heaven. My journey into the world of homesteading began when I married into a 6th generation family farm. What started as a renovation project for a place to park our tiny home, has now ended in 6 years of hard work, sweat and determination to maintain and preserve the endless to-do lists and demands of a farm property. We have added animals, renovated buildings, cleaned up countless pieces of the past, and are working to leave a legacy and a farm better than we found it.
From tending to our diverse array of animals to nurturing the land that has supported generations, every task is done with love and respect for tradition and gratitude for the blessings.
One of our most exciting projects is building our home out of two grain bins. This home is not just a place to stay; it's a testament to our dedication to creativity and sustainability on the farm.
Through this blog, I aim to share the beauty and challenges of homesteading, raising kids, diy projects and much more. From the daily joys and trials of raising a family in such a dynamic environment to the practical insights into sustainable living, I hope to inspire and connect with others who dream of a simpler, more connected life.
Thank you for visiting our corner of the world. We hope you leave inspired and return often to see what new stories the farm have brought us.
